SPEEDING AND RECKLESS DRIVING
Speed—either excessive speed or driving too fast for conditions—caused more than 16-percent of New Mexico roadway fatalities last year. During the 100 Days and Nights of Summer campaign, law enforcement will increase their efforts to cite motorists violating speed limits all over the state.
Radar enabled law enforcement officers throughout New Mexico will be cracking down on those who speed through the 100 Days and Nights of Summer.
Officers will also be on the lookout for people driving recklessly on New Mexico roadways.
You’ve been warned: Drive the speed limit and in a safe manner or face the consequences.
